Fiesta Biewers - Breeders of Quality Teacup and Toy Sized Yorkies and Biewers
We specialize in healthy, happy yorkies and Biewers. Breeders often give their puppies a size category ranging from micro - teacup - standard. Teacup yorkies, teacup Biewers, micro yorkies, micro Biewers are simply labels referring to size. In order to educate our customers, we also provide current weights of our puppies and their parents. We do not breed for teacup yorkies, teacup Biewers, micro yorkies, or micro Biewers. However, several combinations of our dams and sires often whelp small puppies. We will often use the descriptions because these are the terms our customers use. At this point, we explain to the customer our breeding process and goals. We also explain why we selected a particular dam and sire. It is in this way we can educate our customers about the terms used by the general public, and how Fiesta Biewers are reflected in that light. It has taken about 8 years to find what we feel is amazingly beautiful, inspiring, and healthy.
Typical Yorkshire Terriers (teacup yorkies, yorkie, or micro yorkies) are compact, happy, and cheerful in nature. Often the Yorkshire Terrier stands between 6 - 9 inches and weigh between 3 - 7 pounds. Since a yorkie is small, we, at Fiesta Biewers, believes that small children could hurt a yorkie puppy. A Biewer is a bit bigger than a yorkie, but is still small. That's why we counsel prospective parents before allowing such a purchase. We want our yorkies and Biewers to live in a safe and happy household .
Yorkshire terriers and Biewers love to play with other breeds of dogs. Since the yorkie believes it is a huge dog in a small body, there needs to be discretion when allowing the yorkie or Biewer to play with large breed dogs.
With yorkies and Biewers, whether they are micro, teacup or standard sized, they require daily brushing and exercise. The yorkie and Biewer enjoys living in apartments, houses, condos, and rural settings. Whether they are micro, teacup yorkies or Biewers, the puppy requires interaction with their owner.
The yorkie and Biewers can have certain health issues that are common with all small dogs. These are eye irritations, patella luxation, premature dental disease. Since the yorkies and biewers are small some puppiesa re born with open fontanels.
